Subject: Listed Equity Derivatives Functional Head - Tier One IB - India Barry Williamson posted a job: Listed Equity Derivatives Functional Head - Tier One IB - India "Job Description • Quickly build thorough understanding of key Derivatives concepts, existing systems, its challenges and those of the global transformation programme, particularly the deliverables. • Own and drive the Technology Agenda for Listed Equity Derivatives. Be hands on with an ability to contribute towards the design, development and deployment of platforms. • Collaborate with global teams (primarily in London, HK and India), bridging between developers, project management and business experts. • Leverage existing technology assets as much as possible. • Help build and grow a Technology team and provide senior Leadership. Team size is about 18. • Travel requirements: 10% Key deliverables: What are the key outcomes and what does the jobholder have to produce (objectives)? • Ownership of frameworks/components/ applications. • End to end delivery, collaborating across multiple teams in India and other regions • Ownership of L3 support for their functional area. • Progress Reports and Presentations as necessary. Scope of Role: What decision is the job/ role responsible for? • Senior Technologist role, growing the teams in India and helping deliver the vision and strategic goals of EDT India People Management: What are the key responsibilities of the job/ role? • Collaborate with global teams (London, Hong Kong, India), bridging between developers, project management and business experts. • Influence people to promote and adopt right technical ideas in local/global forums. • Manage a team of about 18+ people and help in their career and personal growth.
