An Du posted a job: Seeking " Safety Manager " in Germany "Hi all, For our customer in the Germany we are currently searching for a “Safety Manager” Project Start: Permanent Location: Berlin (Northern East Germany), Mannheim or Switzerland Zurich Job Description: •Definition, maintenance and supervision of safety process in business unit locomotives according group directives and EN 50126, EN 50128, EN 50129, EN 61508, CSM and SIRF • Review of safety dossiers and advocate them against assessors and authorities • Support safety assessment in bids • Definition, maintenance and supervision of incident reporting process and ensure correct information flow in case of product safety related incidents • Definition of safety requirements for locomotives according to valid standards and directives • Single point of contact for safety engineering for product safety issues in case of incidents and accidents; reporting to product safety executive in such matters • Responsible for reporting system and governance of safety incidents • Assessment of progress of international standardisation groups whenever product safety is affected Skills: Master degree in electrical, mechanical or software engineering or equivalent • Ideally a sound knowledge in rail vehicle engineering • Five years professional experience in a technical leadership position, ideally in safety management • Expert in product safety including FTA, FME(C)A, Markov Analysis, etc. • Practical experience with planning and scheduling • Diplomacy, advocacy and communication skills • Fluent English is required, ideally gained in an international environment • Good written and spoken knowledge of German is a plus • Further language skills would be an advantage • Some willingness to travel is required If this is of interest to you, we would be happy to receive your updated CV in Word Format via resourcing-itsouth@harveynash.com, your availability and your hourly rates at your earliest convenience.
