Julian R has started a discussion: QA Analyst , Location: Lawrenceville, GA " QA Analyst Location: Lawrenceville, GA Duration: 4 Months Contract Pay: DOE Job Description • Design, develop, execute, and maintain software test plans, test designs, test documentation and test harness • Extend the technological expertise of the test team; research, utilize, and apply state-of-the-art testing tools and practices • Work with Software Process team to implement software process improvements • Work with Customer Support, Software Development and Community development to resolve product related anomalies • Technical review of project and product documentation, tutorials, and support materials Required Qualifications • BS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field • 5+ years of technical experience in software product testing or development • Thorough understanding and experience applying state-of-the-art software testing methods, strategies, concepts, and tools • Experience with software development life cycles and product metrics • Software QA or Software Development experience: Database or Web testing or development experience Desired Qualifications • Experience leading or training test engineers • Experience defining and implementing product metrics • Experience with GUI testing and software configuration management systems • Experience with automated test tools, such as Mercury QuickTest Pro If you are interested, please send your updated resume to julian.r@traverze.com If you are currently not able to take up this position – please pass this on to your friends or colleagues who might be interested in this job.
