Subject: Senior Medical Writer, Medical Education Agency – South East England Robert Wilson posted a job: Senior Medical Writer, Medical Education Agency – South East England "A superb opportunity has arisen for a talented Senior Medical Writer, to join a dynamic agency, based in South East England , specialising in creating and delivering strategic, brand-focused medical communication programmes in global, regional and UK healthcare environments The ideal candidate will: • be educated to degree or PhD level and have at least 3 years experience as a Medical Writer in the medical communications industry • demonstrate a high standard of scientific accuracy, literacy accuracy and attention to detail • have a broad experience of developing written communications that enhance understanding of both product and disease areas • offer demonstrable knowledge of several therapeutic areas, including oncology and anti-infectives • have a proven ability to assimilate medical and marketing information and offer input into strategic communications plans • exercise good interpersonal/communication skills for effective and professional liaison with colleagues, clients and healthcare professionals • demonstrate efficient and effective project management skills • contribute to new business development for existing and new clients, assist in the development of proposals, and play an active role in preparation and delivery of proposals/pitches • thrive under pressure, and be able to work to tight deadlines, whilst delivering work of exceptional quality. Reporting to the Editorial Team Leader, you will be prepared to take responsibility as lead writer on at least one account, and develop solid relationships with your clients and opinion leaders.
