Key Responsibilities: Implement, maintain and monitor all IT systems, including but not limited to, file and print services, e-mail, application and database servers, desktop and server applications, desktop hardware, backup and recovery, virus protection and security to ensure maximum service reliability and availability. Maintain and monitor all ISP services including but not limited to, .Nett, ASP, applications and database servers to ensure continuity of service. Inspect, maintain, and monitor all aspects of IT data centers/server rooms to ensure continuity of service. Achieve or exceed systems availability targets to maximize user satisfaction. Maintain a register of all supported hardware and software to enable effective asset management. Establish and maintain backup and recovery processes for all Desktop Service systems to ensure business continuity. Evaluate desktop hardware and software solutions and make recommendations for improvements. Manage and develop team members, assigning priorities and tracking progress to ensure timely and elivery to high standards. Manage the regular upgrading of software and application of patches to ensure systems remain current. Ensure all procedures and processes are documented to enable consistent and robust service delivery. Establish and maintain a regular capacity planning regime, including the provision of performance reports to enable future planning. This is a 24x7 varying shift position. You will be expected to work shifts occurring at varying times of the day, varying days of the week. Knowledge/Experience Requirements: MCSE - Microsoft server/Windows systems experience Cisco experience A minimum 4 years’ experience in an IT support environment Ability to communicate with IT users & all levels of business ITIL foundation certified IT Degree and/or CNE qualifications MS-SQL experience"
