Whether you're on a consumer product or a business product, you take part in a complete marketing experience as you lead every facet of the product's journey. From determining positioning, competitive help analysis, feature prioritization and external communications, you help shape the voice of the product and it grow a loyal consumer base. This means you work with a cross-functional team across sales, corporate communications, legal, webmasters, product development, engineering and more. The role enables you to shape the product development process, organize product launches from beginning to end and form future marketing strategy. Google+ is a social platform. It provides a social spine across all of the company's products, creating a better experience for users when signed in. It also has an active and popular stream in which users share content, most often based on their interest graph. Google+ is available in more than 150 markets globally and currently used by hundreds of millions of users. Required: We’re looking for an awesome community manager to manage partner acquisition and engagement across Asia Pacific. Your role will be to build communities based on interest, for example sports in Australia to Bollywood in India. You are: passionate about content, creative, fast-thinking, scrappy, comfortable in a particularly fluid environment, and very very organised. You combine community-oriented ideas with the analytic chops to analyze what works, and operationalise your initiatives to be logistically efficient. Ideally, you've also done social and engagement/event marketing for a major consumer brand before. You will also need to have an in depth understanding of Google+. Minimum Qualifications: BA/BS degree (In lieu of degree, 4 years relevant work experience) Experience as a community manager Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience in digital marketing. Advanced working knowledge of digital media trends and strategies, with an emphasis on social media Self-motivation and readiness to coordinate events involving several different parties Excellent written and oral communication skills with peers, management, and cross-functional teams.
