"Contact: Priyamvada.nath@blackrock.com Job Purpose: Reporting to the Associate Employee Services, APAC, and the role will assist in all aspects of Global Mobility Services in Asia Pacific. As part of the Employee Services APAC team, you will have an opportunity to work across the core services that the Employee Services team provides such as providing support throughout the employee life cycle (from hire to retire), Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, Rewards and HR Analytics. Must to have : Relevant experience of global mobility/relocation Key Responsibilities: • Provide support for employee lifecycle events, including on boarding, internal transfers, employment changes, termination etc. • Responsible for the preparation of relocation cost estimates, relocation and assignment letters • Responsible for filing all document and keeping all files up-to-date and relevant • Responsible for case initiations with relevant vendors for tax, immigration or relocation work including monitoring of each case, and escalation of issues as appropriate to manager • Process invoices for payment with Finance including any required follow-ups with vendors or Finance • Work with Payroll Team to ensure appropriate payment/deductions are reflected in transferred employees’ payroll • Streamlining processes through process improvement activities and taking proper preventive actions • Must be flexible to perform other duties assigned • Responsible for various project initiatives and leading the projects to successful implementation Skills/Qualifications: • Degree holder and with at least 3 years of compensation and benefits, or consulting, experience • Fundamental understanding of Asia Pacific benefits landscape • Highly self-motivated with ability to work effectively autonomously and within a team • Uncompromising attention to detail without losing sight of the bigger picture • Superior interpersonal skills and verbal/written presentation skills • Strong analytical skills and ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and projects • Good technical skills in producing reports, analysis and providing advice on data trends • Strong team player, customer focused and able to work with people of all levels • Ability to handle and maintain confidential and sensitive information • Demonstrate ability to work independently and prioritize workload • Mandarin as a second language would be an advantage Knowledge/ Experience required: • 2-5 years’ experience in HR, with exposure to supporting and leading India Employee Services Team • Must be open to work in shifts like 6:30am – 3:30pm, 9am- 6pm, and 11am – 8pm. • Relevant experience of global mobility/relocation • Broad knowledge of HR concepts, processes and their interdependencies • Investment management and/or investment banking industry experience is preferable. • Experience in a captive centre is highly desirable • Capable of grasping new concepts quickly and utilising it in a productive manner • Microsoft Office (essential) and Oracle (preferred) Skills/ Qualifications: • MBA (HR) preferable • Strong PC skills across Word, Excel, Outlook Competencies Required: • A high level of attention to detail • A positive and ‘can-do’ attitude • Organised and process oriented • Ability to work independently, solution-oriented • Ability to support and collaborate with a remote Team • Desire and ability to provide outstanding service to internal clients • Proven ability to manage competing priorities and meet tight deadlines • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) • Ability to identify, suggest and implement improvements to processes and/or procedures" | |||||
