Ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of PHP and MySQL, but will also be a forward-thinking learner with strong understanding of API integration (including Google API), data handling and web authentication protocols (OAuth, SAML, etc.). Ideal candidate also has experience in .NET environments and with SQLServer. We are a DYNAMIC, growing marketing software and services company. JOB DESCRIPTION Build and maintain multiple client-specific web properties and landing pages written in PHP, including WordPress applications with custom PHP enhancements Develop dynamic, data-driven pages insides authenticated workspaces (e.g. personal URL landing pages). Must understand data integration from MySQL and/or SQLServer Experience building multi-platform web sites using Responsive Web Design/ RWD (media queries, progressive enhancement, feature detection and etc.) is a MUST Develop interactive components using JavaScript and jQuery, integrate with internal tools, frameworks and services as well as external APIs Collaborate with backend developers, editors, and external agencies Understand core principles of MVC development Translate UI designs into well organized and structured HTML/CSS compatible with modern browsers, and use open source tools & frameworks to improve the structure and maintainability of the front-end code where possible Design user interfaces with a modern and clean aesthetic which focus on delivering intuitive & enjoyable user experiences Mastery of HTML5 and CSS3 Prior experience in maintenance and enhancement of enterprise-class applications using PHP or .NET frameworks. Must understand core principles of web application security and protection against common web attack vectors.
