Group: IT Recruiters Subject: nXt-IT is looking for a ICT System Engineer. start :asap duration : 6 months location : Antwerpen ref nr 1813 Sarah De Laet posted a job: nXt-IT is looking for a ICT System Engineer. start :asap duration : 6 months location : Antwerpen ref nr 1813 "Tasks and responsibilities • To technically coordinate infrastructure fixes and system developments of the existing IT infrastructure/application and future projects. • To provide general ICT support for all staff in Brussels, including remote users. • To liaise with the different ICT internal and external providers/vendors for the technical management/support. • To take responsibility for the smooth running of all systems and to identify well defined processes in the event of problems, with appropriate root cause analysis. • To provide regular reports to ICT Operations manager on issues relating to the ICT service support operation, highlighting any risks and investigating solutions. • To collaborate actively to optimise the ICT infrastructure and applications architecture continuously. • To participate to small scale/peripheral projects relating to the improvement of existing services. • To guarantee compliance with ICT MSG and full alignment with eni ICT standards, guidelines and strategic plan. Profile • Must have a good all-round knowledge of IT concepts, Microsoft Windows platform (including Windows7 and System Center Configuration Manager), client and server virtualisation (XenApp, XenDesktop), ICT infrastructure, networks, databases (Oracle, SQL Server) and other technical aspects. • Service Delivery experience, preferably with ITIL qualification or worked within an organisation with ITIL processes. • Proven technical experience in the domains above. • Knowledge of Dutch, French and English. • Communication skills to match with business users as well as with technical profiles. • To be a flexible team player. • To report to the ICT Operations manager and coordinate with the local ICT Infrastructure department.
