Group: IT Recruiters Subject: BSS Project Manager (Testing) - UK Rachael Manning posted a job: BSS Project Manager (Testing) - UK "BSS Project Manager (Testing) – UK (BSS, Software Delivery, Implementation, E2E, ITIL, Perm, UK ) An experienced BSS Project Manager is needed for one of our clients, a leading International Telecommunications Company based in the UK, on a permanent basis. You will be based in Reading. Job Description: The Senior Project Manager will work within a large team of managers working together to deliver a major BSS project, based in the UK.. Key Responsibilities: • Planning, scheduling and managing the delivery of a major BSS solution and associated hardware to a key UK customer • Deliver solutions within agreed timescales and to budget through to project completion and post-project implementation review • Organize internal and external resources to meet project needs • Provide regular status reporting, and customer meetings to all stakeholders • Note that this role will require extensive periods of time working at the customer site. Essential experience: • 5-6 years minimum experience of managing end-to-end software delivery implementation projects in telecoms • Producing and delivering customer presentations • Interact in a multi-cultural environment • Experience of the software development life cycle desirable but not essential Qualifications: • Work across cultural and organizational boundaries, and operate successfully in an intense business environment • Work with customers, internal business unit organizations, and third party vendors • Perform job functions to standards under pressure of tense/confrontational situations • Provide concise and clear, written and verbal reports • Work independently, and be team player Essential qualification(s): • Diploma, degree or above in a relevant discipline. • Recognised project management qualification desirable • ITIL qualification desirable but not essential If you are interested, available and have the appropriate skills and experiences for the above position, please forward your updated resume in a word document to Jason sales@manningglobal.com with the following reference LIJV/BSSPM or call +385 1 638 7404 for further information."
