"Strategy & Planning Marketing Manager - UK A Strategy & Planning Manager is needed for one of our clients, a leading International Telecommunications Company based in the UK, on a permanent basis. Job Description: Based in Reading UK, you will be responsible for Strategy & Planning Marketing Management of our clients business unit marketing department. Key Responsibilities: • Be able to monitor the industry trends, operator and vendor strategies, identify new business opportunities and avenues, and produce comprehensive analytical reports. • Be responsible for marketing intelligence collecting and internal publishing, Monitoring and analyzing Vodafone CXO voice, Vodafone market M&A, financial report, global or Opco strategical movement, and other key events. • Be able to do independently analysis on assigned hot topics such as quad-play, network sharing, FMC, LTE strategy, IT transformation, backhaul network evolution, ALL IP network evolution, content delivery, CAPEX & OPEX breakdown, etc. • Be able to have dialogs with VIP customers (director level and above), including making slides and presentations, be knowledgeable and trustable, giving advices to the customer on their service and network development. • Develop business consulting tools and methodologies, help to improve the competence of the team Preferred / Qualifications: • At least 10 years’ Experience in areas of business/network consulting or strategic planning, marketing strategy, business development. • Operator, vendor or telecommunications consultancy background is essential • Good organizational, cross-departmental and project management skills • Good skills to make comprehensive analytical reports • Good skills on slides making and presenting. • Bachelor's degree or higher in engineering or business is required; MBA is highly desirable • Good knowledge and experience in telecommunications industry is required • Good communication skills • Able to work in a fast-paced working environment • Easygoing with an open mind and willingness to learn new things quickly • Teamwork: Ability of good communication and coordination. • Strong sense of responsibility and take the serious and meticulous attitude during working • International and domestic travel up to 20% is required Basic / Qualifications: • Basic language skills: fluent English.
