"Telecom Engineer – UK (Technical Management, Technical Support, Chinese Language, Telecoms, Perm, UK ) An experienced Telecom Engineer is needed for one of our clients, a leading International Telecommunications Company based in the UK, on a permanent basis. You will be based in Reading. Job Description: Will be working in Vodafone Business Unit, and manage improvement program in OpCos delivered to Vodafone under an open supervision. Will be based in Reading, and sometimes would travel to different country to stay 1-2 weeks for technical meeting with Vodafone customer. Responsibilities: 1. Interface with customer, response to customer technical enquiry. 2. Communication with technical teams in different countries, manage technical issues and software release. 3. Manage the technical experience share and knowledge transfer across countries. 4. Deeply communicate with R&D department and technical support center, to sort out VF-Group customer’s concerns. 5. Travel is required to have meeting with customer in global and OpCo level. Essential experience: 1. Good communication skill, fluently speak and write in Chinese, English, more language will be prevailed. 2. At least 2 years working experience in telecommunication industry. Essential knowledge/skills: 1. University degree in Telecommunication or Electrical / Electronic Engineering or relevant working experience. 2. Ability to properly communicate with customers, team member, other departments and partners.
