Sarah De Laet has started a discussion: nXt-IT is looking for a Project Management Officer start : November duration : 6 maanden location : Brussels ref nr 2008 "MAIN TASKS : - The PMO is the responsible for control and guidance of the projects according to the ICT methodology valid within bpost. - New project project-portfolio methodology based on PMBOK will have to be taught - Major focus need to be on commitment to the ICT-customers (requirements and contract) - Expert Project management skills with practical insight - Being able to evaluate project risks, communicating challenges, changes and contingency plans that enable successful project delivery. - Assure that engagements to the rest of the ICT department are delivered to ensure successful operational handover. BUSINESS CONTEXT : - Continually seek opportunities to improve the project-portfolio methodology and deepen relationships by interacting effectively at all levels of the ICT organization. - Evaluate requirements documents and Project Initation documents (Contracts) - The person must be able to work independently and maintain his own workplanning. - He is responsible for the quality of delivering projects and fulfill demands of the business. TECHNICAL SKILLS : * Must have’s : - At least 8 years experience in project management - 3 years of project management office - Certified Prince2 or PmP/PMI - Strong technical background about development projects (Java, SOA, Middleware, .net,…) - Working with sourced resources is a plus.
