ASI is a leading web development/consulting firm in the US with a development center in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. Over the last 20 years, we have specialized in automating business processes by developing desktop applications and building web browser-based solutions. We provide custom applications that deliver key solutions to our customers. Position Description This position will be responsible for global financial management, and as such will coordinate directly with executive management both in the US and India. The Finance Manager is responsible for Budgeting, Audit, Accounting, Payroll and adhering to statutory requirements. Responsibilities/Duties • Reviewing, analyzing and interpreting financial and budgetary reports and key performance metrics • Directing all aspects of accounting operations and helping prepare annual financial forecasts at the company level • Managing statutory audit and all taxation related areas in accordance with Tax Laws Providing guidance and support to subordinates within the assigned company policies • Manage India and US payroll preparation and processing. • Prepare P&L Statements and balance sheets. Maintain accounts and book keeping. • Follow-up with A/R Issues. Identify problem accounts. • Preparation of MIS, ability to analyze data and highlight variances with reference to Budget • Ability to Handle Statutory Audit, Limited review & Tax audit • Knowledge on Project costing and variance analysis • Experience in handling TDS, VAT and Service Tax • Sound knowledge on Company law, Income Tax • Preparing and finalization of monthly and yearly accounts, preparing summary of financial highlights to be submitted to the Executive Management Team every quarter • Preparing returns to be submitted to the regulator and ensuring timely filing • Experience in analyzing forecast/budget, comparing to monthly actuals, identifying, interpreting & explaining variances, and financial planning & analysis would be an added advantage • Demonstrate ability to work independently and pro-actively undertake high end analytical work • Good understanding of accounting and finance concepts (GAAP, SEC, SAB, asset depreciation, capital, revenue and recognition, accounting close, flash/forecast, journal entries, etc) Qualifications • 6+ years of Accounting / Finance Management experience with CA/ICWA with sound Knowledge on IGAAP and US GAAP • Preferably IFRS Certified • Prefer candidates with experience working with stake holders in the US. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels. • Diligent with attention to detail. Able to solve problems and find effective and timely resolutions. • Ability to motivate and lead team members to achieve individual and shared goals. • Demonstrates excellent interpersonal skills with a willingness to share knowledge, coach and collaborate effectively with individuals and other departments. • Strong organization and planning skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and undertake new tasks quickly.
