The role of a Network Security Engineer within a Global Satellite and Communications company, will be that of great challenges and rewards. Cisco is their network solution deeply embedded into their systems, alongside a fortigate of Palo Alto Firewalls. This is an opportunity that will allow you to bring into motion your past planning and design experience around the security systems within a team of highly specialised network engineers where your capacity to learn will show no boundaries. You will be a key player in the response to high risk security incidents in an environment where time is of the essence and you expertise will be pushed to new levels at all opportunities. Along with the day to day running of the systems you will be responsible for conducting research and assessments of security; provide analysis of firewall, IDS, anti-virus and other network sensor produced events; present findings as input to SIRT. You will also be making recommendations on security threat mitigation strategies.
