Group: IT Recruiters Sarah De Laet has started a discussion: nXt-IT is looking for a Senior BI Oracle Analyst start : 17/02/2014 duration : 31/05/2014 location : Brussel ref nr 2128 "Description: - To ensure that the designed solution for the BI part is in line with the BI strategy, best practices & guidelines in specific, and with the enterprise IT architectural strategy and guidelines in general Responsibilities: - To understand the existing BI solution for, impacted by the Project RET 084 & document (bring up to date / extend) the AS-IS BI Architecture on SAP BW 3.5 & 7.3, Oracle DWH, SAP BODS, SAP BO,…) - Define the TO-BE solution for the RET 084 deliverables & align with BI roadmap - To analyse the BI functional requirements & translate into a SAP BODS/Oracle/BOXI/Reporting BI solution design - To validate the functional and technical analysis per technology - To supervise/validate the redesign of the detailed solution of the BW-LTF (+disentanglement of SAP BW 3.5 - LTF (for BtC only)) to the BODS/Oracle-LTF architecture - To give technical advise to the project team members on BI issues during the project - To give advise & assist during the performance tuning activities related to the BI domain (BODS/Oracle/BOXI) - Support the project RET 084 for analysis, validation till the assurance of the implementation of the detailed solution Technical skills: KNOWLEDGE • The ideal candidate has detailed senior knowldedge about the most common BI tools o SAP BW, SAP BO, Oracle Datawarehouse, Reporting tools • Has a very good insight on market trends like big data and in-memory analytics • A proven track record of working on a successful BI strategy and architectural designs and their implementation. • A proven track record of deliver succesful solutions in complex negotiations • The ideal candidate is able to explain to a main board in plain English and French or Dutch the complex technical reality, allowing the senior leadership of the company to evaluate options and take the right decisions. EXPERIENCE • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in the management of technological development platforms. • Minimum 4 years of professional experience in the Business Intelligence domain Personal skills: The profile we are looking has the following competences: • Has strong listening and communication skills • Has experience in facilitation, mediation and consensus building • Is able to clearly present ideas, results and reports to a wide variety of stakeholders, from management over business to IT (in their ‘language’) • Is open-minded, engaged, motivated, flexible and has a constructive attitude • Is a master at winning hearts and minds of people in the spirit of what is best for the company • Has a very strong conceptual mind and is able to transform theoretical concepts into pragmatic and working solutions • Has very strong negotiation skills • Strong technical and analytical competences Meer info? jobs@nxt-it.biz ref nr 2128"
