Interested candidates please revert with your updated resume along with current contact details at: m.namrata@brunel.net Job Title: Business Analyst Job Type: One year contract (can be extended) Position description: Purpose : Business Analyst (BA) is part of the Marketing and Commercial (M&C) team. This M&C team is responsible for purchase of LNG cargoes from its global suppliers and marketing and selling them as RLNG in competitive markets in India. The role of the BA is to support and participate in (1) purchase of LNG cargoes by analyzing fuel trends (2) Marketing and sales of RLNG by tracking power, fertilizer and other markets ; Accountabilities Market Analysis (Local) • Generate gas demand forecasts at various levels of aggregation- State wise, Regional and National • Monitor exploration and production activities in India and update indigenous gas supply forecasts. • Maintain customer-database for the company • Track developments and policies in key user industries, in particular, power and fertilizer sectors. • Undertake inter-fuel economics to assess competitiveness of LNG vis-à-vis other fuels Market Analysis (Global) • Track global gas demand supply to ascertain the demand in major demand centers as well as sources of supply viz pipeline and LNG • Monitor developments in the global LNG markets to assess their impact on the Indian gas market • Analyze and track trends in global oil prices, LNG price markers, etc. to develop value propositions • Experience and Qualifications • Bachelors / Masters - Commercial, Economics, Science, Business Management, Engineering. • At least 4 to 6 years of experience in similar roles with domain knowledge of Oil & Gas industry • Hands on with analytical tools and software (spreadsheets, internet, and databases). Exposure to Reuters database is a plus • Good Gas & LNG industry knowledge including value chain" | |||||
