Job Description: We are looking for a System Architect who will be responsible for the entire development of a social network in .Net. Your Responsibilities: - Review and understand the business requirements provided by the Senior Management - Contribute ideas for improving the application's usability and user experience; in particular the site needs improvement in its functionality, proactive networking features, search functions, communications among members, project management tools - Perform requirements analysis and produce solid technical directions, proof the technical concept, prioritize functionality, create wireframes based on existing design - Interface with the Platform Project Manager to lead a team of software engineers that will develop the platform - Spend the first 6-8 weeks at the company's offices (North America) Your Qualifications: - Experience with .Net (preferably experience as a .Net developer) - Knowledge of Drupal - Excellent knowledge of social network functionality, as well as user experience, user interaction, and information architecture - Experience with user authentication and verification tools - Creative, capable to bridge the gap between the business idea and the programming implementation - Fast, independent, and not intimidated by overwhelming workload - A work style that is extremely detail oriented and strives for pixel perfect implementation in all browsers - Experience in leading a team of developers (possibly remotely) This is a permanent job.
