For this European client, Timeo-Performance is now recruiting a: VP Sales & Marketing Greater China based in Shanghai. Job description: * Responsible for the commercial P&L of the Greater China countries (China, Hong-Kong, Taiwan), representing more than 30me of Stay Business Volume, ie, about 30% of the zone. * Head of the marketing functions for the Greater China region marketing team (Internet, PR, Communication, Strategic and function coordination). * Manages this organization (about 9 people with 3 direct reports: head of marketing of China/Taiwan/Hong-Kong. * Brand Ambassador: PR, Communication, Event, Media * Director of the Greater China zone and participation to overall strategic planning and P&L management Profile * Mainland China national (or born in Mainland China with long-term experience there) * Fluent in Mandarin (spoken/written) and English * Top University graduate (MBA would be a plus) * International work experience (outside Mainland China) will be a plus. * Target work experience: to have worked both on PR, Communication, Event and brand management in mainland china and on strategic role/portfolio management in an Asia Headquarter. * Target companies: luxury and/or FMCG Skills * Strategic thinking and ability to structure complex situation * Excellent People skills (managing outside partnerships, up/down/across internally) * Business Leadership (visioning/creating, executional delivery) * Results Driven * Marketing mastery (both executional such as PR, internet, communication and strategic such as brand positioning, portfolio management, new product development). * Commercial knowledge/experience is a plus Others: * Position based in China with about 40% of travelling * Candidate should be mobile in other countries in Asia-Pac including Mainland China but also potentially to Europe/US. * Warm personality, fit with our client brand/spirit is a plus * Position reporting to CEO Greater China * Recruitment as fast as possible.
