Rita Dhanavade has started a discussion: Encore/DBC Support Engineer - Miami, FL "Berean Group is Seeking Encore/DBC Support Engineer Location: Miami, FL Duration: 1 year Job type: Contract Travel: Yes (30% travel required for this position) Citizenship / Work Authorization: Must be US Citizen or Perm Resident Only Job description: Scope of work: • Production support of shipboard Property Management System (Encore/DBC) • Will be assigned as resource for shipboard projects (upgrades, NewBuilds, enhancements) • Participate in User Acceptance Testing • Test and certify version updates received from system vendor • Production support for other Property Management Systems (TTG and potentially Fidelio) • Maintenance and general ownership of application (roadmaps, analyze trends in support, etc.) Required skills/competencies: • Experience in supporting Property Management Systems - Experience with DBC and flat file systems - Analytical skills - Incident/Problem resolution skills - Must be able to work in a team environment Preferred Skills: • Linux experience - Cruise industry/Hospitality experience preferred - 2/3 years of field experience.
