"UI/ Java Developer in Boston, MA Job Overview Design, modify, develop and implements cutting edge software applications and middleware. Coordinate with and provide technical support to project team members. This position offers the opportunity to demonstrate creativity and innovation.   Type of Work This position will be working with Java and HTML5 to create sleek and interactive applications that are visually appealing while being usable on mobile devices and traditional desktop computers. A string focus on usability and scalability.   Duties You will spend most of your time designing, modifying, developing and implementing cutting edge software applications and middleware. You may be called on to create wireframes or basic mockup UI concepts to illustrate future enhancements. You will also need to be able to quickly prototype new concepts and ideas – and will be expected to contribute new ideas and innovative ways to solve problems. You’ll contribute to the project team’s needs to driving the project forward using standard project management methodologies or Scrum processes. You will be expected to have experience with Test Driven Development techniques, not just unit testing. You will be expected to leverage such techniques and best practices in your daily activity.
