Job Description: The Senior ETL Analyst will be looking at the business and technical requirements, ensuring data standards and integrity are met throughout. The following skills and qualities are required from the Senior ETL Analyst: Creates Design Specifications and Data Mapping Specifications at the entity and field levels for ETL developmentResponsible for the consistency and integrity of the data within the data warehouseCode and unit test the ETL programsParticipates in the dimensional modeling processConsults with QA team as needed for remediation of data issues.Build a deep technical understanding of how the business operates departmental structure, functions, processes, procedures and current application functionality Work in partnership with key business users, identify potential ways of improving the efficiency and/or effectiveness of current business operations Development of specified solutions in accordance with approved specificationsAdhere to established standards and procedures (SDLC), including configuration management, coding, testing and documentation standards Ongoing maintenance of systems technical documentationPreparation of user documentationDeployment planning, testing and execution Ensure that business change requirements of project implementation are highlighted to all stakeholders Assisting the business with change management planning and implementation Qualifications / RequirementsThe ideal candidate will have:6+ years of enterprise experience in a Business Intelligence / ETL environment with:Strong Analytical skillsStrong IBM DataStage skillsStrong IBM Change Data Capture skillsStrong IBM Quality Stage skillsStrong IBM Information Analyzer skillsStrong SQL skillsGood Data warehouse and BI architectural skillsGood dimensional modeling skillsField Mapping Design.DataStage transformation jobs and sequences.Technical ETL documentationUnit Test signoffThe ability to effectively work independently and as part of a team providing direction and mentorship to others as needed.Bachelors degree in Technology (MBA preferred)Ability to travel as business needs require Demonstrated project discipline and experience. Must be organized, focused, and driven toward established deliverable dates. Must be able to design solutions and form/drive related plans.Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
