"Manning Global is currently looking for a Project Manager for a network renewal project on a long term contract position for one of our clients, a leading international Telecommunications Company, based in the Congo. The project director is in charge of coordination and delivery of the complete Network Renewal Project, covering all streams: Testbeds and E2E integration, Core Network (CS, PS, SDM), Transmission (backhaul, backbone, IP/PMLS…), RAN (swap, rollout, optimization – 2G, 3G), IN, VAS, IT Transformation, Power systems, NOC and centralized supervision, maintenance and support services. Responsibilities - Responsible for interfacing with Orange CTIO and maintaining the high level relationship between Orange executives (CEO, CTIO, Heads of Departments) and our client’s management team - Responsible for communication with Orange executive and management team (day to day communication, global project weekly meetings and weekly reports, any ad hoc or regular meeting or reporting) and transferring information to/from our client’s management and delivery teams - Responsible for setting-up and maintaining the global project organization and sharing it with Orange, establishing the project coordination, management, follow up, and reporting with the various work package leaders involved, securing kick-off meetings and regular progress meetings and reports at the various work package levels, and updating the global project schedule in liaison with the work package leaders, in view of securing the key milestones of the project, capturing/producing global project KPIs, tracing both the performance of our client and the performance of Orange -Producing internal/external progress reports, producing progress summaries and high level synthesis presentations for local regular and ad hoc Global Project Meetings, producing high level synthesis information and presentations targeted for reporting to corporate organizations.. - Monitoring quality of works, establishing, explaining, transferring best practices for Orange projects to the management teams and work package leaders - Supporting the acceptance process - Supporting communication with French speaking subcontractors - Supporting presales and negotiation activities for possible contract changes and additional works Requirements - Strong experience of interfacing customer’s CTO level management - Strong experience of RAN rollout/swap project with some exposure of the other mobile network technologies such as Core, Transmission, IP /MPLS, IN, VAS, IT - Previous experience with an Orange Affiliate is an advantage - Previous experience with a Chinese vendor is an advantage - Fluent French and English languages If you are interested, available and have the appropriate skills and experience for the above position, please forward your updated CV in a Word document to sales(at)manningglobal.com with the following reference LIMH/PMCongo-13798 or call Ming on +49 89 2388 9854 for further information."
