Bangalore location "The ideal candidate will possess: • Excellent user interface and visual design skills and an ability to problem solve. • An exceptional understanding of fundamental design disciplines (typography, composition, color and animation) and principals (affordance, clustering, progressive disclosure, consistency, etc...) • An understanding of underlying technical concepts. • An understanding of the Windows and Mac OS UI/UX guidelines. • Strong communication and organizational skills. • A minimum of 7 years of experience creating visually stunning user experiences for commercial and or enterprise native applications and software. • A degree in visual design, human factor and interaction design (or equivalent experience). • An outstanding body of work demonstrating the successful delivery of innovative application interface design solutions. • Great attitude towards working in a multi-disciplinary, collaborative and remote environment. You will be responsible for: • Help to define the user model and user interface for new and existing Fiery products and features. • Develop high level and/or detailed storyboards, mockups, and prototypes to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas. • Gauge the usability of new and existing products, and making constructive suggestions for change. • Building a team of UI/UX/Visual designers and leading them; working closely with other remote Designers and managers. Requirements: • Solid academic background in human-computer interaction or related field. BS or MS in Computer Science or related field a big plus. • Demonstrated experience in designing usable web-based and native software interfaces. • Strong, clean visual design sense and experience. • Excellent leadership, communication and teamwork skills. • Proficient in developing information architecture, workflow/interaction diagrams and screen mockups • Proficient in software tools needed to complete the projects successfully (For example: Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver or equivalent tools) You are Super Star if you have: • A UI/UX Patent or two. • Expert HTML and RIA skills (HTML5 a big plus). • Knowledge of JavaScript for rapid prototyping purposes. • Built and lead a team of creative designers."
