Raigad, Maharashtra Remuneration: Will depend upon the skills and experience Job Purpose : - Part of the top management, and will be responsible for all factory operations. Will be directly responsible for Production Planning and distribution, Quality control, Factory costs, maintenance, purchase, negotiating and maintaining cordial relations with Trade Union and long term planning. Role & Responsibilities • Production - Production planning as per orders available & customer requirement - Organize workflow according to workload to meet delivery schedule and to complete assigned jobs. - Maintain production records & provide information - Take all necessary actions to manage production costs and improve profitability. - Inventory management. - Procurement of Material - Expansion planning and execution - Logistics management • Quality Assurance and Control - Direct & coordinate the company’s quality program - Compile quality checking reports , maintain records - Ensure appropriate calibration of quality equipment - Investigate and record customer complaints - Achieve ISO Certification for Khopoli plant. - Experience in interacting with Customers for Plant Audit and Quality issues. General & Administrative - Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor that reflects the company’s commitment to quality, continuous improvement and respect for individuals. - Follow systems and procedures and ensure company policies are followed - Meet all assigned goals and assist others in accomplishing their goals. - Provide a positive, motivating example - Maintaining total central excise records of unit. - Handling workmen day to day issues / grievances on factory level - Negotiate with Trade Unions and maintain cordial relations with them.
