Job Description: We are looking for .Net Lead consultants for a Permanent opportunity in Warrington & Nottingham [Multiple Locations]. Job Specification : Software Engineering Team Leader Reporting to : Development Manager Location : Warrington / Nottingham Responsibilities: As a Software Engineer Team Leader, you will be expected to lead an Agile team in interpreting requirements, writing new software and amending or bug fixing existing modules contained within our Medway family of products. You will be expected to lead the team, motivating and coaching team members to deliver high levels of effectiveness and productivity. You will assist the Development Manager in delivering timely and effective products to our customers. Person Specification: As a Software Engineering Team Leader, you would be expected to have: Extensive experience as a software engineering team leader or a senior software engineer within a busy team environment; At least 3 years hands on experience using C# to build large scale commercial applications; A thorough understanding of object-orientated programming techniques, environments and tools; Experience planning, developing, delivering and supporting enterprise software, Including: N-Tier systems; Multi-user database systems; Multi-threaded applications; Winforms and/or WPF applications; An extensive knowledge of the .NET framework (v2.0 or later); Skills in relational database design and development; Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills both orally and in writing; Ability to organise and co-ordinate areas of work for yourself and others; Excellent team leadership skills including team building and coaching of individual staff; Ability to identify training needs and to contribute to staff development through the specification, execution and evaluation of training plans; Ability to direct, influence, delegate, motivate organise and plan; Ability to work within project constraints to ensure that milestone and delivery dates are met; Great determination and motivation to succeed. Although not essential, the following would be highly advantageous: Use of the DevExpress component library; Experience of Health care and Clinical systems; Hands on experience with Microsoft SQL 2008/2012; Use of Microsofts Windows Communication Foundation (WCF); Experience of running SCRUM teams.
