Resumes to nc@fastdolphin.com "Job Title: Java Developer with C# .Net Location: Nashville, TN. Start Date: ASAP Number of openings: 1 Length: +6 month CTH (contract-to-hire position) Project Details: • Need a C# .NET developer with experience with WinForms. • We have a client/server desktop application with a C# WinForms front end that communicates with a C# web service. • Our ideal candidate would be skilled at: C#, WinForms, Web services, SQL. • Strong database skills are desired. Experience with DB2 is a plus. • Experience with ASP and VB6 is a plus. • Good oral and written communication skills are required. • Candidate must be able to work both independently and in a team setting. Requirements: • C# - 5 Years - Candidate should be proficient in C#, and have a practical working knowledge of object oriented concepts • Database – 2 years - Experience designing simple database structures is required. Experience designing complex database structures is a plus. Experience optimizing query performance is a plus. Experience with DB2 is not required but a plus. Candidate may work on queries that use DB2 specific features. • .Net – 5 years - Strong working knowledge of .NET Framework is required • SQL – 5 years - Candidate will work on system with over 1000 tables, and is likely to work on project involving complex database queries • Web Services – 2 years - Candidate will likely work on projects that use .NET SOAP web services. Prior experience with web services is strongly desired • XML – 2 years - A basic understanding of XML is expected. • Other - Experience with VB6 and ASP and a willingness to work with those technologies is a not required but a plus. Some project work may involve porting business logic from VB6 to C# • Other - Java experience is not required but is a plus.
