Profile (technical knowledges, experience) [++] Important technical knowledge : • Practical experience administering Solaris of 3 years, of which minimum 1 year on Solaris 10; master the following Solaris features : o Solaris Zoning and domaining o Network & SAN connectivity (I/O & network multipathing); o Security aspects (ACL, RBAC roles, LDAP, SSH, auditing, ...) o Parameterize and produce a sufficient level of logging for problem solving with Oracle/Sun support • Master different clustering solutions supported on Solaris (Sun Cluster 3.3, Veritas Cluster). • Good knowledge of Veritas Storage Foundation HA, Sun Volume Manager and Veritas Volume Manager. • Developing ksh & perl scripts. • Be up-to-date on the Solaris-related technological evolutions (hardware and software). • Practical experience with backup technologies (Symantec NetBackup) of more than one year, including experience with NetBackup appliances. • Redaction of technical documents in English.
