Max Salary $ DOE Per Hour Employment Type Direct Jobs (Full Time) Domain Any Description Job Description The Progress Developer reviews, analyzes, and modifies Progress programming systems including encoding, testing, debugging and installing to support CenturyLink software applications utilizing Asteas Dispatch-1 product. This includes developing detailed specifications, coding and testing the software prior to release. Responsibilities Include: Lead a team of 3 4 technical resources in the development and production support of the application. Review, analyze, and modify Progress programming systems including encoding, testing, debugging and installing to support business software applications. Supporting and developing ongoing solutions in highly customized, complex, integrated systems based on Asteas Dispatch-1 product. Rely on past experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Perform a variety of tasks. Perform other duties as assigned. Job Requirements Minimum of 6 to 8 years of experience in the Progress programming language required. Familiar with relational database concepts, and client-server concepts. Practical experience with OpenEdge ABL (formerly known as Progress 4GL)., Unix scripting and navigation, XML, API, File Transfers, ability to read and understand C code.
