Start Date: ASAP Length: 6+ months Description: • Support UNIX production and development environments consisting of IBM, Hewlett-Packard, VMware, and Linux servers • This position plays a key role in building HPUX Itanium blades, HPUX OS builds, HPUX Integrity VM, HPUX vpars, managing VM capacity, HP c7000 chassis, systems support, integration, delivery of database servers, middleware servers and web tier application servers across the organization. • Position is required to provide on-call support on a rotating basis with the other members of the team. Fluent in English and Spanish is required. • Responsibilities • Server Administration – Hardware, OS, SAN allocations, Network, and Scripting • Software Installations – OS Builds, OS Package/patch installations, client software installation • Monitoring – Tivoli alerts, system and network-level performance monitoring, performance tuning, backups, and capacity planning Skills: • HPUX 11.23, 11.31 (5-7 years) • Os builds, package installs, performance tuning, root cause analysis, ldap/kdcconfig • Managing Ignite process • HPUX Virtualization • Integrity VM • Vpar • Managing VM capacity in Vm clusters/farms • VM migrations between datacenters • HP c7000 chassis • Configuration – OA, ILO, SAN fiber connects. • HP integrity Itanium blades – BL870, etc • HP ARIES PA-Risc emulator on Itanium • HPUX logical volume manager • VeritasNetBackup • Client backup and restore • Unix Security Framework knowledge (PAM, KDC/LDAP, SSH key management, etc) • Networking protocols (NFS, SSH, SFTP, HTTP) • Performance tuning (kernel parameters, network parameters) Languages: • Spanish • English If you fulfill this requirement and are interested in this position, please send your English resume along with your availability to start in this project, to the following e-mail address: nancy.cardona@fastdolphin.com"
