As a CAD engineer you will be tasked with 3D modeling and drafting support using in-house and commercial CAD tools. You will be working in close collaboration with the design team based in our global offices. Key Qualifications • 3D CAD (UG NX / Solid Works / AutoCAD / CATIA) development working closely with a team of Turbomachinery engineers • Developing 2D detail drawings for manufacturing following drafting best practices, GD&T • In depth knowledge on ASME Standards Description • Technical Diploma or engineering degree (Mechanical preferred), with 2 years of relevant professional experience • Solid working knowledge of commercial CAD packages, Solid Works and AutoCAD preferred • Knowledge of drafting best practices and the application of GD&T principles • A good understanding of manufacturing processes and how that relates to CAD design • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Able to work in a very dynamic, fast paced environment • Able to develop 3D models and 2D technical drawings based on verbal instruction from a team of Turbomachinery design engineers • Working knowledge of FEA (stress analysis) highly desirable Interested candidates kindly forward your resume with your current and expected CTC to reena.louis@softinway.com" | |||||
