Several opportunities now exist within our legal team, based in the UK and working across Europe, Middle East and Africa. Commercial Lawyer Civil Aerospace & Customer Finance, Derby Today, at any one time around 200,000 people are flying in aircraft powered by Rolls-Royce engines. Our ability to keep those aircraft in the sky is a powerful illustration of the ‘mission critical’ nature of what we do. This position will support the Civil Aerospace sector across a broad spectrum of commercial legal issues on a global basis. This will include cross-border contracts, product and service development, sales finance and leasing, major projects work, technology development and exploitation, joint ventures, strategic sourcing and managing dispute resolution. Applicants will possess a strong grounding in commercial contracts law, whilst prior experience in the aerospace, construction, engineering or defence sectors would be a benefit. Commercial Lawyer Marine, Energy, Nuclear and Corporate Support, Derby Rolls Royce’s Marine, Energy and Nuclear sectors support 17,000 public and private customers in 120 countries spanning a number of industries including ship propulsion/design, integrated systems, standby power, oil and gas extraction and the design of nuclear reactors. Rolls-Royce’s Derby site houses the majority of our central corporate functions that support delivery of our business goals across the globe. This position will provide general support to the above business sectors and corporate functions and across a broad spectrum of commercial legal issues.
