Subject: Test Engineer, Sioux Falls-SD, clinton.brown@experis.com Clinton Brown posted a job: Test Engineer, Sioux Falls-SD, clinton.brown@experis.com "We have an opportunity for an experienced Test Engineer to take engineering tests originated from both internal and external customers to completion. Work in a team environment with personnel including the test requestor, test engineers, and technicians to complete durability and performance tests in accordance with applicable work instructions. Develop test plans and procedures. Review requested test procedures and specifications against internal capability. Conduct pre-test meetings to ensure understanding of test procedures and goals prior to testing. Test design, set-up, analysis, and formal reporting of results using standard formats and procedures. Coordinate testing with outside test facilities to obtain pricing and schedule testing. Documentation, analysis of data, and preparation of formal test reports in accordance with standard forms and procedures. Qualifications/Requirements: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering required. Must have previous experience operating vibration tables, installation of strain gages, and previous data acquisition experience. Experience with Labview and DASYLab programming a plus. Fundamental understanding of heat transfer, fluid dynamics, and vibration a plus. Excellent mechanical aptitude and hands on ability. Strong Technical Writer.
