Retail and Microsoft POS background strongly preferred. ** Must be up-to-date on standards, guidelines, industry trends regarding architectural/infrastructure, etc. **Evaluates and selects the architectural options that best fit the needs of the end goal. **Must have experience with Microsoft systems, including Microsoft Point of Sale. **Retail background is strongly preferred. **Develop and executes a communication plan for the architectural standards, architectural designs, key decisions/issues and architectural status within assigned initiatives. ** Provides input into both the US and the enterprise-wide infrastructure target state, particularly when the target state is influenced by specific initiative architectures. ** Collaborates with the global IT Foundation Services teams (architecture, engineering, customer service, operations, etc.) and other programs to ensure comprehensive/cohesive working solutions are designed for their initiatives. ** Works with the Project Management team within the US organization to develop project plans for the architectural design of assigned initiatives. -- Creating and/or updating the architectural statement of work -- Providing input into the creation of the schedule, the milestones, the scope, and the asset/resource requirements. ** Utilizes the appropriate engagement process; obtaining and using other IT resources and services as needed. ** Provides technical expertise and oversight for multiple projects ** Assists management with obtaining necessary variances. ** Will be the single point of contact for changes in scope/requirements WHEN RESPONDING TO THIS OPPORTUNITY: Resumes without the required technical skills and experience will not be considered.
