POSITION SUMMARY IMMEDIATE OPENING FOR EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT / SALES ASSISTANT IN COMMERCIAL INSURANCE FIRM Provide high-level administrative & sales support to a Senior Sales Executive / Principal and his team (primary markets include Medical and Construction Insurance / Surety). -Assist with and prepare sales materials for meetings and presentations -Conduct online and general sales research -Coordinate marketing meetings with referral groups -Prepare statistical reports -Handle information requests (including assisting with various carrier applications) -Facilitate minor updates and additions to the Firm’s website. -Perform administrative functions such as correspondence, receiving and greeting visitors, scheduling conference calls, meetings, filing and organization -This position will also be cross trained to perform occasional back-up Assistant Acct Executive duties and back-up Receptionist at times. REQUIREMENTS -Bachelor’s degree in Risk Management, Business or Marketing is required -1-2 years experience in an insurance setting or similar business environment is a plus -Interest in the Construction industry is a plus (frequent interaction with Construction firms) -Above average computer skills including some experience on Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook) and a willingness to learn new applications (we use one of the leading Windows based agency management systems in the industry – AMS360). -Self-starter, ability to work with minimal supervision -Strong multi-tasking skills as wells as being highly organized -Courteous, friendly and a good team player -Attentive to detail -Strong follow-thru and execution to completion -Ability to track and report on tasks assigned Send resume and salary requirements to Sandi Giller at sgiller@cbshr.net!" |
