US CITIZENS / GC Holders only! "US CITIZENS / GREEN CARD HOLDERS / PERMANENT RESIDENTS ONLY!!! The Field Chemist will provide expertise to our customers with regards to packaging, transporting and disposition of the waste chemicals; Prepare Job Hazardous Analysis (JHA) plans according to job tasks, conduct and document site safety meetings. Sort, segregate and package chemicals according to all applicable DOT, EPA, State and Federal Requirements, including preparing manifests, inventory tracking documents and all applicable documents as required. Also, employees fulfilling this position must be willing to perform necessary work in order to fulfill the clients and project needs. •General knowledge of hazardous waste/ material handling skills and regulations. •Laboratory experience, hazardous waste analysis knowledge or previous field chemical work preferred. •Familiarity with all DOT, EPA, California Health and Safety Code, and California Code of Regulation Title 22. •Must have OSHA (HAZWOPER) training certification. •Ability to obtain of a Driver's "Class B license" with hazardous material endorsements and TSA clearance. license and a clean MVR. •Education -- degree in Chemistry, Environmental Science/Health or related sciences, or equivalent experience is preferred. •Minimum of 1 year relative experience •Able to pass a pre-employment drug, physical, and functional capacity exam US CITIZENS / GREEN CARD HOLDERS / PERMANENT RESIDENTS ONLY!!!
