Experience • Minimum 6 years experience in oil and gas industry • Detailed knowledge of latest industry standards and best practice related to process engineering in oil and gas industry • Full understanding and experience of project life cycle from feasibility, FEED, EPC to commissioning and level of process and process safety input required in each stage • Skilled application of process related software such as HYSIS • Inherently apply safe design principles in the view of process safety experience • Active ability guide and to develop young engineers Job Purpose • To provide process Engineering related service required within the functional role of process engineering team • To ensure technical quality, design integrity and correct and safe application of process engineering codes and standards • To evaluate the updates of process engineering technologies mainly in oil & gas sector of industry • Serves company clients inclusive of pipeline projects, Brownfield projects, Newfields projects, Assets and all other divisions within the company, covering oil and gas facilities on offshore and onshore areas of the Company Typical Duties Typical duties will include but not limited to the preparation and/or modification and reviewing of the following: • Conceptual designs and process development reports • Block Flow Diagrams (BFD) and process Flow Diagrams (PFD) • Process and Instrument Diagrams (P & ID) • Process Engineering Calculations • Mass Engineering Calculations • Mass and Energy Balances • Process Equipment Specification and Data Sheets Essential Functional Responsibilities Functional Responsibilities will include but not limited to the following: • Accountable for successful completion of assigned engineering task and preparation of engineering deliverables (Within taskforce or multidisciplinary project engineering team) • Active participation in Engineering or safety related reviews such as design reviews HAZOP & HAZID • Monitor/Supervise the work of less experienced and assist with training • Interface with other internal DED engineering discipline to ensure a coordinated design and complete engineering deliverables • Interface with client and vendor to define project scope, resolve technical issues and assist with preparations of deliverables • Collect required engineering data via site field trips"
