Subject: Full Time Software/Control Engineering Based in South Carolina Ananya nagesh posted a job: Full Time Software/Control Engineering Based in South Carolina "The primary responsibility of this job is to • Design and develop embedded software used to control large machinery • with Electronic, Electrical and Hydraulic systems....complex technology. • Other responsibilities may include items such as commercial software • projects, automated test scripts, and software maintenance. • BS Electrical Engineering • Machine Control System Experience • Software development principles and practices • C++ programming language • Visual Studio.net and Windows CE • CANBus network experience (SAE J1939 or CAN Open) and other fieldbus systems • Application of software controls for industrial equipment On-site software modifications during machine commissioning and maintenance may be required. Apply communication and problem-solving skills to actively solve software issues related to the design, development, deployment, testing, and operation of mission-critical software systems. Help develop strategies to increase quality and efficiencies in the software organization. Requirements: • Design and develop embedded machine control solutions • Design and implement graphical user interfaces • Distributed I/O controls experience is a plus • Support hydraulic and electrical controls engineering • Travel (domestic and international) up to 30% - to test, commission, and troubleshoot machine functions...get away from the computer every once in awhile and see your work where it is used !
