Subject: Manning Global is urgently looking for an experienced Deputy Project Director Consultant to be based in the Fiji Rachael Manning posted a job: Manning Global is urgently looking for an experienced Deputy Project Director Consultant to be based in the Fiji "Manning Global is urgently looking for an experienced Deputy Project Director Consultant to be based in the Fiji for one of our clients, a leading International Telecommunications Company. The successful applicant Will make sure the project is delivered on time and within the cost and quality frame as defined in accordance with the contract and applicable laws, rules and regulations as well as company internal policies, processes and procedures. Furthermore, he/she will provide support, assistance and guidance to the client’s projects in Fiji for 2G/3G and Core Swap Projects. Another task is to assist in the setup and improvement of the project organization. He/she will provide improvements to project planning and processes, and do necessary amendments as per the project requirements. The successful applicant will support, train, assess and propose workable solutions to assigned major projects within the client’s organization that face problems or delays so as to enable the continuity and normalization of these projects. Skillset required for this role is: -At least 10 years project management experience for a tier 1 vendor or operator. -Relevant project management certificate e.g. Prince 2, PMP, PMI or a relevant university study -Proven track record as Project Manager in Telecom or IT deployment projects -Knowledge about project budgeting and cost control -Management and leadership skills; Communication skills; Cross cultural management and handling skills -Pressure/result orientation; Know how in the area of telecom projects -You should be fluent in English; knowledge of Fijian is a big plus.
