Subject: Manning Global Group is currently looking for two Standards Managers - UK Rachael Manning posted a job: Manning Global Group is currently looking for two Standards Managers - UK "On behalf of our client, a major and fast growing Telecommunications company, Manning Global Group is currently looking for two Standards Managers to join the team ASAP for a 2 year FTC role. You will be based in Basingstoke, UK. This position requires traveling on a regular basis. You will be responsible for: ·Attend international Standards meetings as company’s delegate ·Manage Standards project, develop and implement relevant Standard Strategies. ·Participation of standards activities to coordinate and cooperate with major Europe operators on. ·Follow-up events and trends of international and domestic standards, to analyze and output standards strategic recommendations. ·Develop or pre-develop standards drafts, promote company’s view points in SDOs for approval. Support decisions on developing products and researching technologies. Qualifications: ·Bachelor's Degree in Electronics/Telecommunications and a Master’s Degree or PhD is preferred ·More than 8 years of telecom related technical experience, proven experience in the fields of telecommunications engineering, marketing and product development ·Experience in standards, strategy and business planning is preferred. ·leading edge technical knowledge of telecommunications infrastructure, and strategic understanding of the ongoing evolution and future direction of the telecommunications industry ·In-depth understanding of the key players’ standards strategy in the telecom industry ·Deep knowledge of ICT standards bodies such as 3GPP, IETF, ITU, ETSI, etc. ·Experienced and skilful negotiator and consensus building abilities at international levels ·Fluency in English (both written and spoken); knowledge of other languages is desirable; If you are suitable and interested in this position, please send your CV in Word Format to Erin at sales@manningglobal.com with the following reference LIEW/StandrMgrUK/12843 or call +44 01704 500 011 for the further information.
