Group: IT Recruiters Subject: nXt-IT is looking for a Medior System Engineer Start: 1/6/2013 Duration : 31/12/2013 Location : Brussels Reference nr 1677 Sarah De Laet posted a job: nXt-IT is looking for a Medior System Engineer Start: 1/6/2013 Duration : 31/12/2013 Location : Brussels Reference nr 1677 "1) Job description : Server Team Infrastructure support engineer o Profile needed : System engineer (is NOT a junior and not a Senior) 2) Technical skills  He / she will manage (day to day) the mail, mail archive– fax – sms environment  He /she will manage (day to day) our Active directories  He /she will manage (day to day) the file and print environment  He /she will manage (day to day) the antivirus – antispam environment Manage (day to day) = second-level support, pick up cases helpdesk can't solve.  Understanding + proven experience of following domains- products is a must: o W2K3 – W2K8R2 o Exchange 2K10 o Active directory o Networking TCP-IP, DNS o File and print services  Understanding and experience of following domains- products is a PLUS o Linux (Red Hat) o Windows 2012 o VMware ESX o Symantec Vault (Vault 9.0) o Faxination (fax – SMS) o Mailmarshal (mail relaying & spam) o Trend micro Deepsecurity (antivirus) + Sophos o Safenet Authentication Manager (e-token) o Security principles o Microsoft Operation Manager 2007 o Scripting AD/exchange objects (VBS) / powershell 3) Other Important Skills  Must be a team player  Must have planning and organizational skills (working with strict deadlines – must be able to cope with stress).  Must be able to troubleshoot technical problems.  Must be able to communicate (oral + written) in French, Dutch and English. Mother tongue MUST be or Dutch or French. Speaking – understanding German is a plus  Must be able to work independently  Customer minded.  Able to learn new products-environments quickly.  Able to write processes – documentation.  Must have a Driver license + car + mobile phone  Must be accountable and is NOT a 9 to 5 worker 4) Special conditions  Candidate must be LINUX certified within 6 months after start.
