P.S : Someone experienced with PHP5 having basic knowledge of networking( more than the Job description, fulfil the PHP experience thats enough ) Location : Mt.Laurel, NJ Duration :2+ years PHP Web Developer Summary This is a Senior Engineering position within the Network Engineering organization. Network Architecture Development has responsibility for providing automation, platforms, and services for Comcasts nationwide network. The web developer will help create web services, platforms, and automation infrastructure in support of Comcast products. In addition, the web developer will design and develop web front ends, dashboards, and GUI related tools to leverage these solutions. oServes as a technical lead and provides expertise to the team; must be comfortable mentoring other developers. oParticipates in the software development lifecycle including specification, design, implementation, testing and documentation with a focus on web services, web applications, and SOA. oEvaluates, recommends and drives adoption of new technologies, tools and libraries. oMaintains and enhances existing software applications based on new requirements and customer feedback. oProvides clear documented status of work activities and business issues that impact the department. oParticipates on interdepartmental teams to support organizational goals. oPerforms other related duties and tasks as assigned. Experience: oMinimum eight years of experience in software development. oExperience with Agile/Scrum software process, and willingness to work in a team oriented environment is required. oDemonstrated ability to initiate and build relationships both internally and externally. oExpertise with RESTful web services, AJAX, and SOA is required. oExperience with other web service types such as SOAP and RPC. oExperience web services related technologies such as JSON, XML, Schema (XSD), XPath, XQuery, and XSLT is required. oExpertise with Object Oriented Programing (OOP) is required. oExperience with and ability to demonstrate proper usage of OOP design patterns required. oRecent and significant development experience with PHP5, Javascript, Python. oExperience with PHP frameworks, JQuery. oExperience with xUnit based unit test frameworks. Preferred: experience with TDD. oExperience utilizing various relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, etc.) is required. oFamiliarity with one or more Linux distributions is required. oFamiliarity with Apache web server is required. Preferred: familiarity with Tomcat, NGINX. oAbility to integrate with third-party APIs and database schemas is required. oKnowledge of Juniper and Cisco Router APIs a plus. oKnowledge of network transmission at all 7 layers of the OSI model"
