Lead team role building up portfolio of services using Java and industry standard tools and methodologies. Please quote Job Reference: LM4414 The aim of the team: Offering real time solutions available at all times thus needing resilience and high quality with low maintenance. Currently Java services both large and small are being designed and built in and around the Oracle based warehouse on vary large database. ETL is a central data warehouse in Capital Markets IT, retrieving, holding, and presenting trades from 40+ systems and other sources The warehouse data is primarily used for control of and reporting also ETL are together with Java and BI Competency Centre part of the Core Services department in IT - Capital Markets. The services will either enrich and feedback data to the warehouse or present data in marts or APIs. Your position is a leading role in the team building up the portfolio of services using Java and industry standard tools and methodologies. Duties and tasks include: · Senior Java developer ( 8 years+ with modern java frameworks and open source tools and methodologies. · You will mentor and guide in good practices and make decisions on design and structures. · You will need to show a solid investment banking domain knowledge and experience. · Java development and excellent solutions. · The role will help the current team deliver high quality solutions and solid improvements offering great value for the stakeholders. · You must be articulate and apply your senior development and communication skills with perseverance and due diligence. · Be part of development cycle including deployment and operations and support is a necessity. · English Fluency in oral and written is needed.
