Purpose of the job: To Manage the Region project Rollout team / Subcontractors and deliver Customer contractual obligations on a regional level; To Train the Region team members accordingly; To Deliver on Establish Project rollout plans, and ensure Works are carried out as per schedule and in a profitable manner. Main Responsibilities: Directly responsible for the general management of the entire Implementation process on a project within his region Responsible for the timely completion of all equipment ordering in cooperation with the Logistics Department, Installation, Commissioning and Unit Acceptance responsibilities within his region Responsible for a site from Ready for Installation status to the issuance of the Final Acceptance Certificate for the sites within his region Sets and manages Customer expectations as well as expectations of Samsung Responsible for distribution of all relevant information incoming from the Customer to members of the project Comprehends all contractual obligations between Samsung and the Customer Controls the Implementation process according to the defined time schedule Establishes an organizational structure for the Installation/Commissioning /Integration for New sites / Swap sites 2G, 3G, LTE and single RAN solutions Interfaces with all the central support functions such as Logistics, Cost and Progress, Process and tools, Quality/Health and Safety, Procurement etc. Interfaces with the Logistics Manager to verify the standard site components and assess availability of all materials Evaluates contract deliverables and transfer knowledge to his team in the region Defines the Scope of Work & job description for all positions in his region. This should be in line with the pre-defined organisation structure. Selects/approves all Installation & Commissioning engineers, site supervisors, field engineers and other key personnel Establishes Installation and Commissioning and Acceptance Teams, which shall be in line with the contract obligations Responsible to organize the tools and test equipment for the Teams Keep direct interface with the subcontractors. Prepares detailed rollout plans with the subcons and presents to Customer Ensures that all the purchase orders for the sites in the region are processed in a correct fashion both towards the subcon and customer Ensure that the project tools and databases are kept up to date at all times Holds regular subcon progress review meetings to ensure the subcontractors are keeping up with the targets and implements necessary measures should the target deadlines are not being achieved on regular basis. Follows up technical problems during rollout Education: Bachelor degree or higher degree in Engineering (Structure, IT, Electronics etc) Experience & Knowledge skillset: Five (5) years experience on telecommunication projects as an Installation/Commissioning/Integration Manager on 2G/3G and preferably some experience on LTE rollouts High level of experience in dealing with subcons and Operators Experienced in RAN Installation and Acceptance procedures Completed required Installation and training courses Additionally trained as an Installation Supervisor Works well under extreme pressure with tight timeframes Accurate, reliable, self-confident and firm Proven ability to control performance of Staff/Partners/ Subcontractors MS Office Suite (Competent User) Excel, Word & PowerPoint (High Competence) Fluent in spoken and written English Good report writing skills If you are interested, please submit your CV in English and Word Doc format to Anabelle at sales@manningglobal.com with reference MGAG/RPD-14311 or call Anabelle on +49 89 2388 9842."
