Job Description: General Purpose Contact businesses and individuals by telephone in order to promote and sell IT staffing services.The main task will be to cold call potential companies based on a lead list and script that will be provided for you. Once you have penetrated the account and gained the interest of a potential client the account will be passed on to a business development manager. Main Responsibilities Explain the product or service to potential customers Deliver scripted sales pitch to the customer Adjust scripted sales pitch to meet needs of specific individuals Provide pricing details Calls prospective customers by operating telephone equipment, automatic dialing systems, and other telecommunications technologies Input order details into the computer system Record customer details and details of transaction Confirm orders placed with field sales representatives Schedule appointments for sales staff to meet prospective customers Answer telephone calls from potential customers who are responding to advertisements Contact customers to follow up on initial interaction"
