Job Description: Position : Instrument Reference Data Expert (SME) Location: Stamford, CT Job type: Full-time Required Skills and Competencies: Data Maintenance Security and issuer setups Security amendments Data enrichment Ad-hoc requests Corporate actions processing Daily activities to support bespoke consumer/business requirements General Skills Overall knowledge of the financial industry and market know how Knowledge of asset classes and instrument, their key components, and how they work in associated Front to Back process flows Capability to own processes: training ability, knowledge transfer, workforce management, issue management, supervisory skills, escalation management, SME capabilities Process Specific Skills Familiarity with market data vendors such as Bloomberg, Reuters, Telekurs, Standard & Poors, and Moodys 3 to 5 years experience working with Instrument Static and Pricing Data Understanding of SQL, Access, and Excel Macros,Series 99 (US only) Client / People Ability to communicate with clients effectively and identify / resolve key issues.
