"OSS Support Engineer - UK (Telecoms, OSS, NetAct, GreenPlum, Velocent, Cerion, Monolith, Netviewer, UK, Contract) An OSS Engineer is needed in Reading UK on a contract basis project. On behalf of our client, a prestigious and fast growing international Telecoms company, Manning Global Group is looking for an OSS Engineer for a contract position based in Reading. Job description: Provide Back Office technical support for all aspects of the NSN NetAct in addition to Greenplum, Velocent, Cerion, Monolith, Netviewer and a number of other NEMS tools Provide scripting services to assist with Business Intelligence Interface to web interface level Experience with perl, ksh, sh and expect scripting environments Interaction (SQL) with Postgres, Oracle and MySQL DBs specifically Assist with high level analysis, diagnosis and problem solving on NSN NetAct and other OSS tools (e.g. Greenplum, Velocent, Cerion, Monolith, Netviewer) Experience: Programming and scripting skills Extensive Integration and / or support experience of NSN NetAct elements Extensive Integration and / or support experience of OSS elements SW / HW upgrade and testing of OSS platforms Extensive experience of Linux and Unix Admin Building Business Intelligent web interfaces utilizing Perl runtime environment Postgres/Oracle/Relevant DB experience Experience in Back Office / 3rd Line Support and familiarisation with an on-call environment Relevent OSS qualifications Red Hat Linux certification desirable HNC, HND or equivalent (related subjects) If you are suitable and interested in this role, please send your updated CV in English and Word format with reference LIJV/OSSSE-4223 - to apply sales@manningglobal.com or call Jason at +385 (0)1638 7404 for more information.
