Job Description: We are looking for Build and Deployment Lead Analyst in London /Contract for an urgent opening with one of our esteemed clients. Requirement: Job Title: Build and Deployment Lead Analyst Location: London, UK Job Type: Contract Job Responsibilities Technical Leadership on the middleware application packaging, build automation & release orchestration and ensure that technical deliverables are met in accordance with project plans. Delivering all required automated build and deployment processes and tools. Delivering all required automated post build tests processes and tools. Assist the Build & Deployment Lead and other Leads within the team with day-to-day accountabilities, taking full responsibility for specific activities when required to do so. Engaging with projects to ensure their current and future environment technical requirements are understood and that the project and delivery teams understand the technical environment standards to which they must adhere. Pro-actively supporting projects in producing build and packaging standards & compliant solutions for their environment needs. Be a valued advisor to the Management Team on all application technical matters, including all issues that have been escalated as a result of technical standards non-compliance. The role demands a clear and focussed communication and presentation style, both in written work, and in face to face situations. All candidates will be expected to have a mature and fully formed approach to standardisation across all platforms, demonstrating sensitivity to Operational Requirements and use cases. Essential criteria & qualifications Advanced Capabilities Jenkins / Cruise Installation and Administration J2EE Application Configuration .Net Application Configuration Communicating with and influencing Management Technical Standards Broad Technical Knowledge Deep hands on technical abilities Application Deployment Automation Toolsets General Practical technical leadership Strong experience of technical standards creation and communication Strong hands-on experience of designing, installing and managing build environments ITIL Certification (Foundation) Excellent written and verbal communication and influencing skills to both technical and non-technical audiences. Experience of leading and developing effective technical delivery teams. Technical Knowledge Practical Knowledge of Continuous Integration and Automation Systems (preferably Blade Logic) UNIX and Windows Operating System standards, administration & troubleshooting Practical Knowledge of Perl, HTML, Clustering, Oracle, Sybase, hardware administration Advanced knowledge of Jenkins Administration Maven Administration Unix Scripting Source Code to manage compl" | ||||||
