Required Skills • MS or BS degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related field. • 12+ years of software development experience with 5+ years of experience as technical lead • Ability to solve complex problems in a fast paced and dynamic environment with focus on maintaining high quality and standards. • Ability to manage, plan, organize, assign and prioritize multiple engineering support assignments and projects as directed by the manager of the group and/or other departmental officers. • Demonstrated very high competency level in communication of technical information. • Able to communicate in writing, through email and reports, or orally complex technical matters to an audience of equal or higher level technical competency. • Ability to develop and troubleshoot large scale distributed systems • Strong expertise in Java and Java based technologies including strong hands-on skills • Extensive experience in web services and restful services • Extensive experience in developing multi-tiered Java web applications • Experience in SOA architecture and implementation Desired skills • Experience in Hadoop and Map/Reduce. • Experience in NoSQL databases such as Cassandra, Hbase, CouchDB, MongoDB • Experience in agile methodologies like Scrum" | |||||
