"The Role Job Title(s): Firmware Engineer - Digital Communication Systems The Ideal Candidate Firmware engineer with experience in development digital communication systems using low power microcontrollers. Skills: -Detailed knowledge of low level signaling and driver development for I2C, UART, SPI -Low level C programming; experience in ARM Cortex M-class assembly languages a plus -Knowledge of best practices for using interrupt controllers and DMA controllers on modern 32-bit microcontrollers. -Experience in scheduler design and implementation -Experience working with and writing drivers for flash memories -Experience in unit testing C code Differentiating Skills: -Has experience implementing an i2c sequencer for I2C master device controlling multiple slave devices. -Experience in using simple digital communication interfaces to implement robust interchip and intersystem communications protocols. -Experience with the IAR tool chain and customization -Experience in digital signal processing and working with sensors Highly Desired Skills: -Electronics design experience and knowledge of debugging electronics directly -Good knowledge of design practices and patterns for low-power embedded firmware. -Experience with various types of low power microcontrollers (ARM Cortex, AVR, PIC, PSoC) Education: Bachelor or Advanced degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering, or Computer Science with electronics focus For further information please feel free to reach out to me with the latest version of your resume at Icastelan@volt.com or i can be reached toll free at 800.595.8658 x.213" | |||||
